Dan Kelly, violinist, Alan Jackson (past violinist with Faith Hill and Lone Star)

Bio: Dan Kelly started playing the fiddle at young age and won hundreds of fiddle competitions including the state championships of PA, IN, OH, MD, KY, WV and twice the Mid-America Champion. At age 12, Dan won the Canadian National Open, and at age 17, Dan won the coveted and most famous championship title in the nation, "The Grand Masters."

He has since played with a variety of well-known artists, including Faith Hill, Jessica Simpson, SheDaisy, Pam Tillis, Steve Wariner and James Bonamy. Dan played with Faith Hill for three years where he played the fiddle, viola, mandolin and acoustic guitar, using Barcus-Berry pickups to capture the acoustic sound.

From 2002-2006, Dan had been the featured fiddle and mandolin player for Alan Jackson as a member of The Strayhorns. Dan's recent work includes Jimmy Wayne, Joey Daniels, numerous bluegrass acts including The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, and currently, Clint Black!
