Bio:
Downs Thompson, professional fiddle-player, currently performs with country music headliner, Clay Walker. He has also recorded and performed with artists including Charlie Daniels, Shelby Lynne, David Ball, Larry Coryell, Brett Mason, Rhett Akins and Charlie McCoy. Currently, Downs is preparing to tour with the Clay Walker band, promoting their upcoming CD release on Curb Records. On his own, Downs is recording an album of Irish-inspired music with legendary harmonicist Charlie McCoy for release on the French Label Vox Terrae.
